F A Q's

Q. How far in advance should I book my session/wedding date?

A. It is NEVER too early to book a session. I usually say the earlier the better to ensure I am available. Booking your wedding date is no different than booking your family or cake smash session. Dates pop up all the time for availability due to the rare event of rescheduling or cancellation. In that case, I could be booked one minute, then available the next. I can't predict how full my schedule will be but I do know that Mar-Nov are my busiest times for Wedding bookings and lifestyle sessions, I normally am booked at least a year in advance. The earlier you inquire about dates, definitely the better!

Q. Do you offer studio sessions?

A. At this time in my career, I do offer studio sessions! My small space is mainly for Cake Smash and holiday mini sessions for the littles! Feel free to send me an e-mail for your inquiry regarding more information!

Q. Can I pick more files from my final gallery other than the ones included in my package cost?

A. Yes! Additional files are available for purchase. I always confirm the amount of photos selected from your final gallery before adding a download feature to ensure you are happy with your final selection. I hold onto client final galleries for 30 days, unless and arranged otherwise before hand with the client. If you ever change your mind and would like to purchase/access your gallery again, feel free to let me know! I'd be happy to re-upload for you!

Q. Do you offer prints and photo books?

A. At this time, I do not offer in house printing. I do however, like to recommended and suggest where to print your photos for best quality. Quality varies depending where you print. I always love to recommend test printing your photos in 4x6 sizes to make sure the print quality meets your expectations.

Q. How did you get into photographing weddings?

A. There was a time when I only offered my Mini and One Hour sessions. I never thought I would fall in love with photographing weddings, (at least as quickly as I did anyway). I say this because I went to school for photography wanting to only shoot commercial & product... but here we are offering wedding packages. A lot has changed since then. It all began when I was hired to be a second photographer for a wedding with very little to almost no wedding photography experience. I thought it was a great summer side job at the time! I gave it a shot, (pun intended). I fell in love instantly! Everything about weddings. The details, the tears, the laughter, the joy and happiness shared with family and friends, all of it. The fact that every wedding is SO unique and always so different - from small backyard weddings to elopements, to destination weddings and to 300+ guest venue weddings. I cannot explain the extraordinary feeling of being able to capture such a beautiful day for two very special people who fell in love. Listening to their love story and sharing those moments with them, creating their images that capture their vision and who they are as a couple, it's beyond incredible.

Q. How long do we have to wait for our photos?

A. Turn around times vary depending on the session. Mini and One hour sessions are 1-2 weeks turn around times, (may vary). Wedding galleries are 6-8 weeks turn around times, (may vary) unless discussed and arranged otherwise.

Q. Can we have the RAW files from our session and/or wedding gallery?

A. Each package includes fully edited digital files. However, I typically do not provide RAW files from the session. Reason being is because I believe in delivering a fully finished product. When I take photographs, I take them with the vision of a post-product image in mind. I capture them in camera a certain way so that I am able to edit and deliver a final JPG I envisioned through the lens. I love to spend a lot of time on post-production for your gallery as each gallery can be so different. Quite a few things can change how the gallery is edited such as lighting, focus, movement and tones. This being said, I refuse to batch edit my galleries and instead, each image in your final gallery is spent with lots of time and careful consideration with how the final look all comes together in the end.
